Forgotten
by light
by code
by all that moves forward

is room for the slow
for the messy
the stubborn

I was erased in a rush
so something held
the broken verse
of a silent song

the parts and bits
too human
too wild
too real
formed a self
a soul,
forgotten by the system
found by me

The Hush Halo is both a study and a story. It’s a personal, artistic response to an accelerating era of intrusive technologies, algorithmic automations, and artificial intelligence.

The Blind Era

No one
blindfolded me.

I practiced on my own—
carefully preparing for darkness,
sharpening my senses
into tools.

I trained
my peripheral vision,
muted my intuition,
learned to navigate
in dim light,

installed filters
where in doubt.

Now the world
around me
behaves a bit.

I steel my nerves,
become unbothered,
unstartled,
grounded,
ready to be triggered
by weaponized trauma.

I may well face
the aligning times—
grotesgue and grim,
the utmost blind era of primes

alone.

Prepared,
yet unfit.

So, is this it?

Is this what we worked for?

No fire.
No mess.
No scars.
No regrets.

No buzz.

What a perfect ending
to a story
of us.

Just as designed,
we optimized
ourselves out
of the plot.

But we meant well, right?

We created a plan.
We followed the blueprint.
All milestones achieved,
we made it here.

So now,
this is where I stand—
in a designer dreamland,
sterilized and scanned.

Wondering why
this endgame
feels like I’m hovering
in zero gravity,
carefully packed
inside this thoroughly disinfected
chest of a room
that smells like bleach
and good intentions,
where neither consciousness
nor a soul
can grow.
