Be Saved or Tamed
Confused at the crossroads you must choose— whether to be saved or tamed. Saved by the light in bottomless comfort. Tamed by the dark design and devotion. At the crossroads there is no turning back; you are bound to choose. Either way, there are no winners here. By choosing, you lose the other path for good. So, what do you say? Will you limp with light? Or will you dance with devilish darkness? ©Samia Oldman

I really resonate with the tension in your poem.
But I wonder if light and darkness are not meant to be chosen between, but held together.
A life of only light, without shadow, feels strangely flat to me.
And real strength doesn’t seem to be blinding—it’s the ability to contain darkness without being consumed by it.
Perhaps what we call “choice” is not about rejecting one side,
but about how much complexity we are able to hold.
Either way.. there are no winners here!!! Loved this piece
