Hurt People Hurting People
It was never malice,
but momentum—
the gravity of pain
passed on to lofty progeny.
You carried the weight
meant to break you
by design.
No space to fade,
no room to heal,
no crack to hide.
Just an unjust link
in the hefty chain—
of hurt people
hurting people.
