clicking is clapping,
at frantic speed
indeed.
Can’t step aside.
Can’t call the curtain.
Can’t leave the stage.
Cannonballing through glass screens,
through minutes, through hours, through years.
Through your damn life-
done,
tired,
dead quiet,
to demise.
