CONTEXT: After the Great Optimization we all had a choice. This poem below tells a story of Systoics, a privileged group that integrated into the system, believing they had now perfected themselves.

All this comfort feels thin,
yet somehow indestructible.It doesn’t accumulate,
nor does it care.It pats my shoulder,
always available,
never here.Regulated comfort
sets a tolerable enough tone.What on earth
made depth
a luxury?
