Detouring Destiny
Tomorrow showed up too early,
shoved down my throat,
forced me to catch up.Wearing my habits,
speaking in my voice,
using my reasons
against me.Detouring so-called destiny
like a bullet train on tracks
labeled high-speed freedom.In this tomorrow
my path is justified
by ever-deepening footprints
on an eternally looping trail
with no exits.So tell me,
how does it feel so right
to be this wrong?
