Now I see
how my freedom
was hijacked.The humbling truth
drops me
on the far side
of the story—equipped with an unbendable,
non-negotiable real.Gangsta consequence
will eventually close
my chapter.Pushing me to cross the line,
to think I’ll improvise
my way out later.Letting me move,
lets me run,
lets me believe
I’m free—
until I bow.Nothing personal.
Gangsta consequence knows:
you’ll walk straight into it
the moment you stop believing
you were special enough
to outrun the outcome.
