When I started Hush Halo, I honestly thought the visual side would be the easiest part for me. I come from a visual and branding background, so painting and imagery felt familiar. Instead, it became the hardest layer to define.
The world of Hush Halo exists very vividly in my head, but translating it directly into visuals never felt fully right. Over time, I realized the poetry and soundscapes were carrying the emotional core of the project much more naturally.
Now I see the visuals differently. They are there to support the atmosphere, not to lock the experience too tightly into one interpretation.
About Hush Halo Poetry
The poetry is the heart of Hush Halo. Every poem stands on its own, but together they slowly build a larger story world and emotional arc. The writing moves through fragments, moments, glitches, questions, and small awakenings rather than one clear linear story.
About Soundscapes
Each poem is paired with an immersive soundscape created with Suno. Since I’m not a musician, this became a way for me to expand the emotional atmosphere beyond words alone.
I think of them more as soundscapes than songs. Their role is not to impress musically, but to create tension, emotion, silence, and space around the poems.
About Visuals
Most visuals connected to Hush Halo are created with Midjourney. I use them mainly to support the mood, themes, and worldbuilding of the project, not as standalone artworks.
Alongside Hush Halo, I also paint, draw, and create handmade work traditionally. If you see those pieces shared here or on my Instagram, they are fully made by me.
